Born in Asunción on 1 March 1982 as Leryn Dahiana Franco Steneri, Leryn Franco is a Paraguayan model, performance artist and former athlete who currently works for the Club Sol de América sports bureau.
Leryn Franco competed in the spear toss at the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Olympics. On 8 June 2012, at the 2012 Ibero-American Athletics Championships, Leryn Franco achieved an individual best toss of 57.77 m in Barquisimeto, Venezuela.
At the 2011 South American Championships in Athletics, Leryn Franco’s accomplishment also turned into the new national record, having outperformed the past record of 55,66 m which Leryn Franco tossed.
Leryn Franco was cast in Irish film Eliza Lynch: Queen of Paraguay in 2013, which portrays the role of the younger Eliza Lynch.
Franco smashed her own spear toss record on September 3rd in 2002, touching 51 meters in a worldwide competition in São Caetano, Brasil. The 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue featured Leryn Franco.
In a couple of stunner shows, Leryn Franco argued. In 2006 Leryn Franco was Miss Universe Paraguay 2006 runner-up.
Leryn Franco has taken an interest in the Universe expo’s Miss Bikini. She has her very own date-book, taken by Martin Crespo in 2007.
