The infamous moment in Hell In A Cell

The Hell In A Cell match at King of the Ring 1998 between The Undertaker and Mankind is generally regarded as the likely most greatest match of all time, mainly for two reasons.

The first was the collapse of Mankind off the cage, on an announcement stage, which became one of the most famous images in the history of WWE.

The second happened just a few minutes later. Mankind had been Chokeslammed on top of the cell by The Undertaker, and the plan called for him to bounce off the cage.

There things went terribly wrong, and the cage gave way, resulting in humanity bursting through it and crashing into the ring at one of the worst moments in the history of the WWE.

However, the match didn’t end here, as The Undertaker made its way down and Mankind’s made fast work to select a victory over the mysterious force.

The unscripted moment on top of the cage may have led to disaster, but thankfully, Humanity suffered nothing drastic and went on to wrestle a lot more legendary matches.
