Born as Ashley Mae Sebera in Seven Hills, Ohio on November 29, 1988, she is an American professional wrestler, bodybuilder, fitness competitor and model signed to WWE where she appears under the ring name Dana Brooke on the Raw brand.
Sebera graduated from Kent State University with a master’s degree in fashion, merchandising, design and a minor in business administration. She worked as a diver briefly before she started to do the gymnastics she had performed for over 18 years before.
She gave up gymnastics after suffering some injuries and severely hurting her ankles, and began training for competitions in fitness and bodybuilding.
Sebera won numerous National Physique Committee (NPC) championships between 2011 and 2012. She received a pro card from the International Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (IFBB) in 2012. She was placed twelfth in the Arnold Classic the next year.
She placed 13th at the Arnold’s Sports Festival in Columbus , Ohio in the year 2015. On December 20, 2016, announcement was made that she will compete in the 2017 Arnold’s Classic for the international fitness category, where she reached fourteenth place.
Sebera signed on with WWE in July 2013 and was assigned to the developmental territory known as NXT where she was given the ring name Dana Brooke. On September 11, 2014 Brooke debuted on NXT at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way in a backstage segment with Tyler Breeze.
Brooke made her debut in-ring for NXT on September 18, when she teamed up with Bayley to lose against Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks. Brooke made her main roster debut on May 9, 2016 when Lynch was attacked by both she and Emma.
Brooke made her main roster in-ring debut on May 12, SmackDown’s episode, and defeated Lynch with some assistance from Emma.
Brooke was featured in three video games on WWE. Her debut in the game was in WWE 2K17, and she also featured in WWE 2K18 and WWE 2K19. Before his death on August 22, 2017, Sebera was in a relationship with fellow bodybuilder Dallas McCarver.
She won the 2017 Female Age Prize. In the 2016 PWI Female 50 Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked her # 26 among the top 50 female wrestlers.
