Greatest Match in WWE WrestleMania History ?WrestleMania 28 Hell in a Cell: The Undertaker vs. Triple H

Triple H had almost defeated Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVII. Maybe the moral victory he enjoyed was better than an actual win, as he left the stadium under his own power while his opponent was removed from the building on a stretcher.

Powered by his own sureness that by beating The Deadman at WrestleMania XXVIII he could do the impossible, not to mention gaining revenge for his best friend ‘s retirement at the hands of The Phenom, The Game stepped inside Hell in a Cell for another big fight with Undertaker.

Match Referee was Shawn Michaels.

The match, an epic that played on storytelling for four years, saw fans on the edges of their seats for every near-fall. They invested in the relationship between Triple H and Michaels, and the WWE Universe popped up with the inevitable Sweet Chin Music from HBK to Deadman.

Facing an aggressive assault by The Intellectual Assassin and match official from the man he sent to retirement two years ago, Undertaker put away Triple H and stretched his WrestleMania record to 20-0.

Following the match, the embrace shared by the three performers at the top of the ramp, recognition of the battles they had participated in, and the journey they had shared through good (and not-so-good) times, was in line with the End of an Era label that WWE Creative had put on the match.
